What age must I be to rent a vehicle?
You must be over 21 years and under 70 years of age.

What documents will I need when I collect my rental vehicle?
When collecting your rental vehicle, you will be required to bring with you both parts of your driving licence (Photocard and and Counterpart). If you still only hold a paper Driving Licence, please also bring your Passport or some other form of photo ID.

If your driving licence shows a different address to where you currently live, please also bring a utility bill as proof of address.

Copies of these documents will be confidentially kept on file and not shared with any 3rd party.

How much deposit will you take?
A £100 holding deposit will be put onto a credit or debit card in the hirers name on booking. No money will actually be taken off the card unless your booking is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice (1 days rental price) or the vehicle is returned damaged etc.

What insurance will I have for the rental period?
You will have fully comprehensible insurance for the duration of your rental with us.

The Excess Insurance stands at £750. However, you can opt to pay an additional £10 per day or £20 per week and this will reduce your excess to £450.

If your rental with us exceeds 40 days, there is a one off £40 fee for the excess reduction.

If you wish to use your own company insurance, please let us know upon booking and we will be happy to accommodate this.

How much fuel will the van have when I pick it up?
Upon receiving your rental vehicle, a record will be made of the amount of fuel in the vehicle and it should be returned with the same amount of fuel.

A charge will be made if the vehicle is returned with less fuel, but if you choose to return the vehicle to us with excess fuel, no reimbursement will be made for this.

How and when will you take payment?
A deposit will be taken upon booking to confirm your rental and the remainder of the payment will be taken on collection of the vehicle.

For insurance purposes, we will take a £100 holding deposit from a credit or debit card in the hirers name, which will be cancelled upon return of the vehicle.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards with the exception of American Express. A charge will be made for card transactions.

Cash and cheque (with the appropriate guarantee card) are also acceptable forms of payment.

Will you charge me if I need to cancel my rental?
If you wish to cancel your vehicle rental with us, please provide us with as much notice as possible. Less than 24 hours notice will incur a full days rental charge.

Deposits are non refundable.

What if I want to return the vehicle out of office hours?
Weekday Hire; All vehicles must be returned by the end of the last working day or agreed rental (5:30pm) or by the next working day, between 7:30am and 8am only.

A charge of £50 will be made if the vehicle is not returned by/within these times.

Weekend Hire; Friday pick up will be between 4pm and 5:30pm, returning Monday between 7:30am and 8am only.

Can I take your hire vehicles abroad?
Our vehicles are not permitted for European use or hire.

Can I have an additional driver?
Additional drivers can be added at a cost of £10 per day.

What happens if my rental vehicle breaks down?
This will be discussed on hiring the vehicle.

Who’s responsibility is it if I incur any parking or speeding fines whilst the vehicle is rented to me?
All speeding, parking and congestion fines/charges are the drivers responsibility.
